A survey in the Ascent Land Records Suite is an entity that encapsulates the information related to the boundaries of a tax parcel in a non-spatial way. The notion of a survey is probably the most complicated entity in Ascent Land Records to understand, but it is a very important one. In fact, it is the existence of a survey element that allows parcel history to be formally tracked within Ascent Land Records.
