Choosing a specific account to navigate to from the personal property search results view displays the account details page for the selected account. The personal property account detail page consists of two sections: the account overview section and the account detail section.



ACCOUNT OVERVIEW SECTION


This portion of the account detail highlights some of the current information about the personal property account. The information in this section does not change when the user selects a specific detail option using the detail selection control.

  • Owner(s): Personal property account owner names as specified by the municipal assessor. By default two owners will display. If the account has more than two owners, these can be viewed by clicking on the magnifying glass symbol that displays. 
  • Business Name: The name of the business.
  • Mailing Address: The address to which the tax bill for the account will be delivered. 
  • School District: The school district(s) to which the personal property account belongs belongs. A personal property account may be associated with multiple school districts only in the case where a "feeder" school is associated with a union high school district.
  • Account Number: The unique identifier for the account. See Personal Property Account Terminology for more information regarding tax parcel numbers.
  • Tax District: The municipality to which the personal property account belongs.
  • Status: The current status of a personal property account. See Personal Property Account Terminology for more information regarding the difference between active and inactive tax parcels.
  • Site Address(es): An address that represents the physical location of an account. A site address is composed of the street address, and, at some counties, the village or city and the zip code representing the postal area that it is physically located.
